I missed the writing at the end, what did it say, they were on the train when it ended ?

It said that was the last time she saw him and he died 5???? years later. So surely he saw his children??

Did he end up with the woman he was having affair with ? Not at all clear.

I didn't watch it at all - but what was their "mystery".

I think it said that he died 4 years after the chance meeting on the train when he was 51. He married Stephanie in 1991 but not sure if she was the one he was having the initial affair with. Am planning to read the book by Tina Moore that the mini series was based on, so hoping to find out why he didn't see his children after the marriage ended.

I don't think he did Tamaris. In fact the affair was after over 20 years of marriage. That's not made clear because they both looked liked they did when they first met (in the programme). In fact Michelle Keegan looked so stunningly beautiful through all 3 episodes it was almost distracting to the story.

It certainly tarnished his image in my eyes. he was a bit of an a hole.

Normal ITV drama ; actors, actresses who are 'models , - very pleasing to the eye, stunningly beautiful as Prudie mentions, all the way through ( they don’t age ) , to pull in the viewers / punters after 9pm, and please the advertisers :-)

Bobby did look older in that last scene on the train, but not Tina of course. What years did the whole series start and finish on?

Their son died in a road accident I think. Not sure when though.

Just found it, happened in 2011, so long after Bobby died.
