....certainly wasn't the NTLive production of Amadeus......I stuck it out until the interval and headed home...

There were technical issues with the sound which they really must sort out.....it's happened before and I think they are resting on their laurels a little now....but they're losing audiences which is a shame.

As for the production itself......I just couldn't get involved......I know Mozart was bonkers....but there is bonkers and over the top..... this became wearing rather than entertaining.....

Salieri was a bit long winded....which would have been okay if we could have heard what he was saying...

The music was fantastic...the orchestra as wandering minstrels....could have done with more of that.....

So......an unexpected early night.......x

Bliss tonight was a few drinks in Huddersfield, and then watching The Seagulls beat Huddersfield to go four points clear at the top of the Championship.

Except it didn't quite go with the script ... #failcake !

On the plus side:

(1) it's been a jolly day out,

(2) we are still top,

(3) we are on the coach, so I can shut my eyes in a minute, and snooze until we get back to Brighton, some time in the small hours. Just as soon as we've finished this bottle of wine.
