Its been £145:50 per annum since 2010. I think its disgusting that it should rise by £1:50, a huge amount in 7 years ! ( tic )

Gromit....do you watch any other TV station, or listen to the Radio at all ?
As I say,I said NO once but it din't seem to make a bit of difference. Also(from my experience) they only ask about every 5th time.
I have not had a tv licence for 5 years.

I have a NowTV box which lets me watch enough shows that I want to.

I have an AppleTV which lets me stream onto my TV from my iPad or iPhone, anything on the iTV Hub, 4on Demand, UKTV etc.

I have a Kodi box. On that I can use FilmOn which streams with a minute delay (so not live), to watch BBC channels. In practice I rarely do that, I just stream Only Connect on Kodi, not from the BBC.

Thanks Gromit...what a lot of boxes !
Oh forgot to say, I had a visit from TV licensing shortly after the law change forbidding the use of iPlayer.
The TV was on at the time, but not on live TV and he said that was fine and I would not be visited again for 3 years.
Couldn't be bothered faffing, I have a TV and a PVR - turn them on and watch or record.

Just over 40p a day, it will do for me.
Mikey,
I don't have a VHS, satelite or dvd player.

Kodi is now on an Amazon Firestick.
Now TV is an app on the AppleTV box, which is tiny.

Does anyone know if a licence is needed just for the radio ?

I know there used to be a separate radio licence at one time.

Mamy....totally agree about the 40p a day !
^No you don't need a licence for just radio but I would happily pay £147 for Radio4

Thanks !
Bazile //What was the name of that Aber , who was extremely anti tv licence ?//
That may have been me. Havnt had one for years.
Last night alone, a fascinating programme about food now and in Edwardian times, a series on 1066, and Inside Number 9.
All for a comparative pittance.
I've seen tv in a few countries (as I am sure have many others) and nothing comes close
Yes RebelSouls - that's the fella
Oh RebelSouls was hot keen as I recall.
//It was RebelSouls //
Ive had some stick myself on here for not having a license.
Yes RebelSouls - that's the fella

I noticed he hasn't posted since 2012 - perhaps he has been banged up for not paying his licence fee - lol
As I've said before, I am happy to pay for my TV Licence.

Those who refuse to pay must leave it to their own conscience...
jackthehat

My TV viewing is all completely legal, a license free.
