All those programmes about people working in airports or as bailiffs, police on Saturday nights in towns trying to stop people throwing up or fighting on the streets etc. Anything with John Thaw. I don't rate him as an actor. He played every role in the same way, with possibly a slightly different accent. I can't just turn it off as OH watches them all and the...

i have a few and find myself not watching much thats on offer.
None - everybody likes different things & if I don't like something, I don't watch it.
The BBC Main News. :))
The Jeremy Kyle Show
Question Author
lie in king, i understand that but there is little in truth to watch, and as i am rather housebound these days find it hard to find something to entertain.
Anything with Ant and Dec, The X factor, most things with the word Celebrity in their title.
All the reality shows and sport!
Question Author
Jeremy kyle, the nightly show, mel and sue in anything except bake off and now not even that.
Personally, all 'reality' TV (Kyle, Kardashians, Poverty Porn, Bailiff Programmes etc etc etc) and Soap Operas, but each to their own I know a lot of people like them. However, I do think they have a damaging social effect though on some people, normalising unpleasant and stupid behaviour. x
I'm another who can always find something to watch and usually record something else at the same time so have a good recordings library to dip into.

I don't watch daytime TV , never Jeremy Kyle and haven't touched the Nightly Show thus far, may look next week as I like John Bishop.
Repeats of Eggheads with Daphne in!
Any football programmes !
Reality programmes. Anything with celebrity in the title because they usually aren't. Anything with politicians in.
All the endless repeats of Bargain Hunt,Flog It etcetera etcetera. After Bake Off the endless appearances of Mel and Sue. Mel in particular . She ruined the Gary Barlow programme looking for new Boy Band. ridiculous gyrating and showing off non stop. Now they are doing Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief. Aargh .Any Celebrity rubbish like TOWIE. I could rant all day. Lol .

You've Been Framed - even if only the parts that involve small children.

Every single time a child hurts or frightens themselves, there is that pause while they take a deep breath to scream their little lungs out, and that is when the film stops, the last sound is usually surrounding adults laughing.

I fail to see why you would carry on filming and laughing when your, or someone else's child is frightened or hurt, and I completely fail to understand why you think it appropriate to share your child's fear and pain with a guffawing audience of strangers via the medium of television.

The execrable nonsense has gone on for far too long, it is shameful and degrading, and it should be stopped today.
Anything with Ant and Dec , celebrities that I've never heard of and back slapping award type shows.
All 'reality' programmes, but mainly anything to do with football. I just don't watch much these days, good that Mr. J2 gets a free licence.
