Bt Sport Via Apple Max Osx - No Sound

My husband was watching BT Sport 2 on Apple Mac last night and half way through the game the sound went - we also get BT Sport on our Sky TV but he watches it on our Apple Mac OSX - never happened before - today still no sound on the BT Sport Channels - can anyone tell me how to fix this?
