aar there be mountains in Darzet there be ....
actually you are right - there arent
highest point in Darzet aaaargh is Pilsdon Pen at 900'
( I went to skool there see ? aaar)
moors ? east Darzet has a few small ones
well spotted Mikey missed that - I was so shocked that my fellow country-men could collaborate. King Charles escape when he was funnelled down to Lyme ( but was warned he was gonna be caught like a RAT in a TRAP ! 1651 ) he slept at Broadwindsor ( the very house has a plaque outside it ) and then turned back somewhere between Broad and Lyme ( 10 mi on horse back )
passing pilsdon pen I think ....
Lots of men fleeing other men with rifles over open fields
kinda wondered if the fliers had made bad life choices

Well it's taken over 10 answers for me to even know what you're talking about, especially as you used the word Archer - totally threw me. Not watching it but there is nothing in Dorset that you would call a mountain and Pilsdon Pen is the second highest hill, the top spot is Lewesdon Hill next door to it.
pilsdon pen 909' - or 277 m
and Lewesdon 279 m
six foot higher ! I am shocked etc - thx
never too old to learn
is SSGB really over ?
well I'll spoil it for you then ........spoiler alert
All the dead people have died from radiation burns as they are constructing a small dirty bomb, which they plan to set off in central London at the Nazi celebrations of the defeat of England. So they ( Nazi bigwigs ) all die AND there is widespread contamination of the hangers on
Archer is the guy who has to set if off as everyone else is dead shot or in prison - and this triggers the resistance fight back....

// So much mumbling. I didn't think it worthy of enormous effort.//
bejayzus and a lot of hun-speak sorry German - and the Germans arent great mumblers ! One critic cruelly observed SS-GB could be nicknamed " I weel only mumble zees wance" - a few papers re-reviewed the series after they had cleaned up the dialog.
