What was she on The Nightly Show to promote? I missed the first half and didn't hear her say a word in the second half

*****SPOILER ALERT**********

"Sister Ursula" has already been and gone from Nonatus House. She appeared in the first couple of episodes of the last series but has since returned to the "Mother House"
I had never heard of her before, but dont think she was in the first part.

The Irish bloke was on first, and he was funny, and should be given his own chat show over here, IMO.
When are they going to get some 'real' celebrities on these chat shows, I know I am getting on in years and perhaps don't keep up with the latest 'wow factors' but honestly most of them have little or no personality and nothing interesting to say.
I agree OAG,
it annoys me the TV company's think they can put any old crap Celeb on a chat show, and we are happy.

The pillock this week with the squeaky voice, is not even fit for a kiddies birthday party, really cringe-worthy, and I dont think Bradley Walsh has done much to improve this sinking ship show.
Sorry that was Tuesday's show, this was last night's:

One can see it just doesn't get any better.
Doesn't get air time in this house.
Never watch it.

It's a sign of the times.

In the heyday of the chat show, when Parkinson ruled, stars were people the public were slightly in awe of. If a famous person came on and Parky cued up the story, and the star would reel it off, people were genuinely fascinated.

Of course, in those days, celebrities were stars - you actually had to be famous for a talent, and then people were interested in hearing you talk about it - and a talent was often accompanied by a personality, sometimes a fabulous one like Peter Ustinov or David Niven.

Now of course, you need no talent whatever to be a 'celebrity, in fact a talent and a personality can be seen as a positive hindrance!

With the mass influx of 'celebrity', the currency is proportionately devalued as a consequence, which is why they should stop putting these people on TV because they are vacuous and crashing empty-headed bores.

The 'chat show' is a dinosaur format and should be ditched - older audiences don't know who these people are, younger audiences are not interested in hearing them talk, and the hosts are barely literate.

Fingers crossed, the Nightly Show will be the final nail in the coffin of this sort of televisual pap - we can only hope.
i only watched a little of the show with David Walliams, never again.
Mamyalynne
Neither in ours, but must admit I have switched on to it this week to see what kind of job Bradley is making of it (I like Bradley) but no it's getting worse, so switched off after a few minutes.
AOG - I like Bradley as well, but as the well-known showbiz saying goes, You can't polish a .... (I think you know where I'm coming from!).
