Why has no one mentioned the fact that DI (Thandie Newton) has lost an arm?! How the hell are they going to trackdown Mr Balaclava if their powers of observation dont extend to that?!

i may be wrong but they haven't seen her since the amputation have they? .... and didn't she put a block on her medical records being made public?

What I didn't understand was, the detective in the wheelchair, not getting any home help from the NHS, or police, considering he was on duty when he got injured, as he said he wasn't coping.

Because he's still under the hospital I assume, plus he didn't tell anyone he wasn't coping. I'm sure the police would give on going support when needed.
