Hi All,
Anyone know how to solve this problem please. I want to list some cable on e bay, selling by the metre, so if you want ten mtrs in one length, you buy ten, etc. i tried listing it and it says i can only list up to 50 items. i contacted e bay, they let me list up to two hundred. I am expecting to sell lengths of 50/100 etc, so have to show that i have several hundred in stock, it then takes this as an individual listing for each one mtre, and will not let me list as i have exceeded my quota. I tried ebay again, but no sense out of them.??
thank you.
What fabric sellers do is make your listing for 1 metre, and post a note for customers saying that purchases will be sent on one continuous length and they should choose the number of purchases they want to make up the continuous length they need. If ebay set a limit to the number of purchases a customer can make, (I have no idea if this is so) then you could offer purchases of 1 metre, 5 metres and 10 metres.
I had over 400 plastic taps to sell. I had to list them in batches of 50.
Once they were sold I listed another 50. I sold the lot!
I allowed multiply purchases, one man bought 30 in one go!
