I saw a performance of this on stage.....it was the first night and for the part where they do the full monty the audience is blinded by the flash of the lights from the stage......so the audience really sees nothing.....
Unless you are sitting on the side of the auditorium where the lights fail......and you see far more than you ever wanted to......... :-)
I saw it on an Indian airplane. They obviously didn't think it was quite the thing for Indian family audiences so for the last scene there was a big black line across the middle of the screen saying, but hiding, THE FULL MONTY.
Do you really think it will make men check themselves? The programme will appeal more to women, I assume.
I can't imagine the men in my family examining themselves just because of this show.
I think they're hoping, that by raising awareness, if the men don't think to check themselves their women may remind them. I ask husband and son if they've checked recently and husband had the blood test for prostate check and the examination.
