Please settle an argument.  My mate reckons they started filming Goal just after Sir Bobby took over at SJP.  I think that's impossible (in fact I know it is, as the new stand was only under construction).  He also says the two sequels have already been filmed - again, I disagree!

I know the sequels haven't been filmed yet. I think they've only just started the second one.

My cousin was in it! (only in a crowd scene but it wasn't long ago at all- can't remember exactly when- but earlier this year). Also- some more evidence to support the fact that it was very recent- Anna Friel was 5 months pregnant at the time of filming and they had to hide the fact by putting her in a corset. The baby was born on 9th July which would mean they were filming took place in April 2005. Your mate is wrong, wrong, wrong!
