Last night when she was in the ramshackle house in the slums, where there was no loo, and people slept in the kitchen,she said to the mother 'what a lovely house you have, I love the beautiful lights' so patronising.

I love the series too...and accept that this is the way she presents things. I'd find it strange if she didn't make such comments about all the amazing things she's seeing.

Yes. I love programmes about India, but just can't stand watching anything she presents and her voice drives me mad. I thought it was only me!
