very clever how they pick the contestant's for the Question Jury. There is always some 20-30 year old who is an annoying little oik who thnks he is cleverer than he really is. Good quiz but it is shame that only one 5 of the 12 contestants get a chance to win the money. a fairer system is if the final player gets the answer wrong the money should be shared by the other six. that would make people think more about standing up
At least the one sat down was honest ... although he could have been more honest and tell a few of those stood up to sit down because they were kidding themselves.
In addition to the two the team thought of - Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May, I was thinking of Margaret Becket and Harriet Harman. I thought that the judge's voice would give the names but nothing was said except that they had given the wrong answer and that the correct answer was "four".
Dam, missed it today and forgot to record it, anybody know if its repeated, not iplayer as i like it with sub-titles?
I agree about only 5 getting the money, but sharing the money, wont be much, unless they carry it on till the next day, then the next if its still not won.
I enjoy it though, especially the back biting on the breaks, and would love to see a fight :-)
How would your suggestion work - it would alter the premise of the programme of them discussing the answers. Who would help the final person to get the correct answer if they knew they would share the money if he/she got it wrong.
