App Has Changed On My Iphone 4

I am unaware that I have changed any settings on my iPhone 4, but my date app and weather app on the home screen that came as standard, and were seperate are now combined into 1 app. The app is now identified as weather underneath. It's a pain. The date is unreadable without selecting the whole app. Any ideas please TIA

It sounds as if you've managed to drag one app onto another and created a folder with the two apps inside it, if you tap on the 'weather' now does it open up a box with the two apps? If so, when there, touch and hold one of the apps until it starts to wobble and a little x appears in the corner. Then simply keep your finger on the app icon and drag it outside the box and let go and it should all revert to normal, press the home button to stop the wobbling.

PS. You'll need to also drag the other app out of the box for the box to go away entirely
