Just watched about ten minutes of this new show not impressed Len Goodman not a TV host same old celebs etc now watching Documentary about Laurel and Hardy that's entertainment.

Typical summertime Saturday tea time viewing imo. I'm sure that the Beeb, ITV etc think that it's light nights the general public are down the pub in the beer garden or on their hols so we can bombard them with carp.

it says a lot about a TV show when 'they' keep showing the same clips for over a fortnight.

Didn't bother watching it just to see the same clips on the tv programme.

I watched a documentary about Laurel & Hardy a few days ago. It was excellent, no doubt the same one repeated.

The problem TV producers don't seem to grasp is that the appeal of the individual is bound up in the appeal of the show.

So Len Goodman appeals on Strictly, but that does not mean that Len Goodman appeals without the Strictly format around him. They may well find that his imagined 'appeal' will evaporate outside that comfort zone.

I strongly suspect Noel Fielding will find the same on Bake Off - he may appeal to his niche comedy audience, but I seriously doubt he will cut it on a mainstream show with such an accepted style as Bake Off.

I, too watched it for only a couple of minutes before I turned it off. I wont be watching it again
