So ,what's the point of films musicals ?

The only musical that I ever sat through as a little kid was Oliver which was memorable due to the cast. Oliver Reed as Bill Sykes was way to scary for me.

There are many happy tunes to listen to ranging from the 1950's Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers through to Rocky Horror

Thanks Tony. That what happens when you Google after posting. That film scared the life out of me and I remember someone being hung between two buildings (if I`m right) Oliver Reed was a great cast for that film.
