Gloria Hunniford - New Day - Same Nonsense.
79 Answers
I was changing between two recordings on my digi-box, and the set picked up the current broadcast on the last channel I was watching - which happened to be Loose Women.
There was a feature about 'belief in angels' - a tattooed guy was offering his views when, within ten seconds of my set picking this up, Gloria Hunniford was talking about how "... my daughter Caron always used to ask the angels for a parking space, and we always found one."
Can this woman not go a day without turning the conversation round to her (tragically) deceased daughter!!!!
I feel better now ...

over time, blinding the person repeating the information to the irony if the situation, harping on about somebody harping on about stuff.
I'm sure there will be a massive difference staring me in the face and it'll be pointed out in a moment though.

Margo - // Same old record Andy - time to give it a rest for all our sakes //
It's obvious (deliberately) what this thread was going to be about - no-one is forcing you to read it, and they are certainly not forcing you to respond to it.
If my subject of choice irks you so much, feel free to skip over it and find something more to your taste.

I can assure you it is not an obsession!
And there is a world of difference between me light-heartedly making sport of Ms. Hunniford's morbid obsession on here, and her appearing on national television and constantly twisting the discussion subject around reminding us that she lost a child, however inappropriate the timing and placing of her reminder - which is usually every time she does it.

If Ms Hunniford is going to parlay her bereavement into a bizarre and inappropriate career move for a dozen years, in public, on tv, for money, then she becomes fair game for a little pricking of her pomposity - and again, if you are uncomfortable with my view, feel free to ignore it, your point is noted.

jno - // The real tragedy of our times is that so many people lose their remote controls and so cannot change channels when their sensibilities are offended, and therefore have to post on AB about it. Poor souls, they have my utmost sympathy. //
Ms Hunniford endless mawkish references to her loss don't offend my sensibilities in the slightest - I simply refer to it as and when I hear it, and then I forget about it again.
And I know exactly where my remote control is - thank you.
