The series doesn't run on a daily basis...it jumps in time. It only takes a few days to get a new phone and that's assuming he didn't already have an old one he could use or borrowed his sons.

She was his mothers carer...in reality between that and his job he was bound to have a backup phone.

Realistically, the carer wouldn't have let Laura search the shed without phoning Andrew first. Also, don't think Andrew would have left the key with the carer.

Ummmm,
To go and fetch a glass of water for somebody, takes a couple of minutes, so how was she supposed to take a sample of the wine with a syringe, transfer it into a tube, then put them back in her handbag in that short time under pressure, hence my remark, it was a poor excuse on the writers side.

A stranger walks in your house, and says they have come to pick up a few things for her mothers son, without any written permission, or a phone call!!!! I dont think so!

i felt a bit robbed, i wanted him to go to court and get done for it all. I guess the next series we find out the whys and whodunnit etc. It feels a bit too obvious for it to be the detectives wife or laura. Ho humm...wait for the next one. Hope rellik was good, got that recorded and the george michael doc, was all on last night!

I've read that the 2nd season will be told in a series of flashbacks! As if Rellik wasn't confusing/annoying enough. As far as i'm concerned, the guy is dead and i don't care enough about who did it to bother with a second series..

I found the whole thing very drawn out.I was ready to know the result a couple of episodes before the end. so I too found the ending very disappointing.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and found last nights last episode edge of the seat stuff. One of the best things on tv of late, just a shame the second series isn't due till 2019.
