the documentary never mentioned the two other lovers as you put it after the first one died, sorry to say this guy was a mess in later life,like lots of us have real problems but keep it together,look at the logistics, majority of "pop" star die in there 40s so he did well

i don't think the logistics support "most pop stars" dying in their 40's.....

I saw the last bit as i was watching liar, when it started but i had a good blub. I'm saving the whole thing for the weekend and i shall open a bottle of wine, wrap myself up in a duvet and enjoy the music, probably have a damn good cry as well :-D

Most pop starts die in their 40's? Really? I've never heard that before.

He wasn't the first person and won't be the last who has fallen to pieces after the death of loved ones. The love of his life and then his mothers diagnoses of cancer and then her death.

But good for you Ivor for being able to keep things together when you're emotionally battered. You're much stronger than me and the millions in some form of therapy.

I thought his free concert for the nurses & staff when he was in hospital, was a nice gesture.
