You will be unlikely to see anyone chatting with Bernie. He's been out of the game since January when he was replaced as Chief Executive of the Formula One Group by Chase Carey. Although he was appointed "Chairman Emeritus" of the group and maintains a consultancy role, he hasn't been seen much at the races this year.

Quite true. It's a very technical and cerebral sport. But being able to drive the things counts for a bit too.
