I don't recall David Platt having such a full beard in recent episodes. It would take me a couple of months to grow that. Have I just not been very observant in recent weeks or has he grown it in a few days?

It gave me a shock when I saw him.
He has been growing it, but tonight it did look quite full.
me too ! has just appeared from nowhere..but has been in recent episodes ??
He's returned from his summer holidays and the episodes are filmed upto 2 months ahead.
It was very noticeable tonight and his hairdo as well maybe Audrey has locked him up in the Salon to compete with Phelan and Andy to see who has the best beard!
I'm still working out how Robert went from having black hair to being a silver fox, and where the dickens did he get a tan from? Do they have sun beds in prison now?
Robert dyes his hair dark in real life and didn’t want to do it anymore so they wrote it into the story that he could no longer dye his hair in prison so that he could show his natural silver fox lol.
Roberta has been dying his hair which he can't do in prison and has had it cut short. He has been painting the prison railings outdoors
/// He has been painting the prison railings outdoors/// In Manchester? It will be rust then. :-)
Maybe David grew the beard as a lot of people have said Shona looks so much older than him?
Did I read somewhere that David is leaving or have I imagined that? Wonder how they will write him out if so?
"Wonder how they will write him out if so?"

He'll be arrested and charged with crimes against acting.
Continuity problem, I'd guess.

On Brookside, years ago, Damon Grant went into the bathroom and came out with a haircut.

I always wondered how Pauline in Eastenders could afford to have such fancy nails. Don't they think of these things?
I have read today that he murders Gary Windass.
Windass, comedy gold.
It suits him.

I like Gary Windass.
