Any favourable comments on this 30 mins of tv? I myself would have prefered to have watched re-runs on the I-player of the 70,80's

My main music was soul, disco around the 70's, 80's now i'm into classical and opera, but still listen and appreciate other generations offerings.
I am aware that I am now of the 'older generation' which only really comes home to me when I watch programmes like this.
I find the language, speech inflections and presentation seriously irritating, and that is because it is aimed at an audience forty years or more younger than I am.
And that's fine - I simply won't watch the programme again.

It isn't aimed at us. It's probably aimed at thise aged 11-25 .
13 year olds would regard editions of TOTP from 1977 in the same way as in 1976 I regarded a programme featuring the Andrews Sisters and other acts from the 1930s.
I did start to watch this week as I still half follow chart music and know most of the current top 30 but i found the first Demi Levato track boring so flicke dover to the football a preview and neve rbothered turning back. I will give it a try but ifrom the clips I've seen it looked very stilted and the two presenters- who normallya re quite god on radio- looked ill at ease
