Several general knowledge questions have me beaten, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

General Knowledge:
1) Which film actress was the fiancée of a time traveller and married two (2) others? [Is this something to do with Dr. Who?]

'What's The Link' between the following words (and be specific - setter's words. not mine):
a) Rhythm, flat and clef. [I realise that they are all to do with music, but does anyone know how to be more specific?]
b) Spring bow, shield and Flexicurve [Are these all to do with archery, or are they all forms of technical drawing instruments?]
c) Timbale, olla and Brochette. [These are all to do with cooking; Timbale and olla are for cooking stews(!) in, but a brochette is a sort of skewer, so can anyone come up with a better link for them]
I have tried Google with a, b and c, but it's a NO GO! or I've not asked in the right way.

'Brochette' can also apply to the dish cooked thereon.
'Brochet' means pike (fish) so it could feasibly apply to a small pike.

Perhaps the link is that all three can be both a dish and a cooking implement?

b If you google Spring Bow, Shield drawing equipment, Flexicurve, you will find, as you say, they are all connected to technical drawing.

David Tennant is married to Peter Davison's daughter I think and they both played Dr Who but don't know of any other connection.

a. Nearest I can see is that they area, as you say, connected with music and each can prefix to Scale.
