I could have told you that ITV3 would be showing non-stop 'Carry On' films throughout Christmas Day without even looking at the schedules.

That's because it's what they've done on every Christmas Day for at least the past 5 years (and probably for far longer)!

On one of the channels is the original film of Dunkirk. It was on yesterday on the same channel.

If you're referring to the prophet revered by the Sheikh Abdul Abulbul and his tribe in "Follow That Camel" (note no "Carry On" in the film's title), that was Mustapha Leek - geddit? :-)

My favourite has always been Up the Khyber. The best line is when Bernard Bresslaw turns to Cardew Robinson, who was lying on a bed of nails, and says, "Fakir, off!"
