Gripping first episode and eagerly awaiting next week's offering. Once again Sarah Lancashire shows what a fine actress she is - certainly one of the best this country has produced.
Excellent episode , Sarah Lancaster is sort of type cast now in gritty dramas, which she does very well .I missed first 10 minutes anything relevant I missed?
And i really have to disagree with Tyrion44. Without going into the plot (no spoilers from me), i have to say that events portrayed (so far) are quite believable.
First 10 minutes may just have been scene-setting, anne. In those opening minutes we see her pour some alcohol into her morning coffee. She is a tad dishevelled, has a rather sickly dog, to which she is devoted, and there are 'height marks' on one of her walls but no signs of any children in the house any more. How relevant any of this is we will have to wait and see.
Indeed, Ken......I have only watched a few minutes of this so far....bed beckoned....but Sarah Lancashire is a fantastic actress.....one of our best I think....x
