Frasier: Missing Beginning.

Silly question but I tape both episodes of Frasier and the first one is always missing nearly five minutes of the first half.
Any way round this??
(Have seen them all a million times, but would still like to see the whole episode.)

Start recording 5 minutes earlier, maybe ?

I agree with OG, as channel 4 tend to show them just off the hour mark.. same with 'everybody loves raymond'.

what device do you record on? On virgin, you have the option to start recording early

I have a Freeview DVR which is a few years old now, but I never have that problem even if the programme starts early or late. I think the broadcaster sends a signal that basically tells it to start recording.

If you don't, I guess the only thing you can do is pad the time out.
