I love most animals but the nearer they get to our species the nastier they can be. Chimps are the worst - they kill for fun. These guys can be dangerous too- and they are clever little monkeys.

Maybe the answer is not to keep such creatures in a Zoo in the first place....baboons are hardly on any SITES list.

In an ideal world, they would all be up to monkey business in their natural habitat. If life was only so simple. As long as they are kept in an environment that mimics their natural homes the baboons are probably as well off as in the wild.

Actually they are Guinea Baboons which are threatened (there are lots of baboon species). Just for info rather than being picky it's CITES.
