Should Emmerdale Be Screened After The Watershed?

I believe that the notion of the 'watershed' is long gone, and belongs in the imaginations of people who think that children go to bed at nine, so anything which might be seen as 'adult' will be shown after that time.

In modern media, anything is available at any time, so it is down to parents to monitor their children's' viewing - funnily enough, when my kids were small, pre-Internet, we monitored back then as well.

In modern media terms, 'the watershed' is an anachronism, it belonged in an earlier time, it has no relevance today.
