The flat is above the builder's yard and is still owned by Jason Grimshaw. Phelan acts as his agent and collects rent.

We don't see any other employees because they are not relevant to the storylines.

I know the employees aren't relevant to the story line but how come he has got all these people working for him, a couple of months ago he was desperate for money. how does a small time builder get contracts to building a block of flats and a factory and i really should get out more!
