++i'm sorry but i watched a little of tonight's episode but had to give up! the actors are so strident, it is also difficult to know who the characters are. short hair on men didn't occur till the roman era. there is absolutely no relief with a bit of humour. does anybody agree?

I watched episode one gave up! I think the producers are simply amusing themselves!I used to watch a lot of cowboy films in my youth,Roy Rodgers,Gene Audrey,Alan Lad,etc.. and thought how wonderfully white all their teeth were; I now realise that they all had to have private medical cover,of course. Cowboys were on minimum wages and didn't get paid for singing or any extras. Troy wouldn't have lasted ten minutes with John Wayne!
