They do have a strange way of interviewing

they saw Abi in the Rovers and they couldn't have followed up Josh's references or they would have found out he was sacked from his last place.

I'm watching the old Corrie on ITV3 (we've just had New Year 1989), and I'm enjoying it SO much more than the current Corrie. There are far too many completely random characters in Corrie now. Sometimes I'll see a spoiler which says so-and-so is going to do this or that, and I have to really think who they mean! I don't feel any affinity towards the majority of present characters. I really think Corrie has lost its way; and don't get me started about who's living where. I'm talking myself into giving up watching it here; difficult after watching it for the last 50 years or so.

They are in care she should be more concerned and focused on getting them back rather than sitting in a pub for a mechanics job, but then it is Soapland.
