A theatre full of children watching Matilda the Musical in Milton Keynes....
Dave's face was a picture when he realised we were two of only six adults in the upper circle....not including the teachers herding classes of young children......but he was soon won over by their enthusiasm and good behaviour.....
Matilda?.....Just as fantastic as the last two times I've seen it......a joy to see so many talented children on stage and the cheering and clapping from the audience of mainly littlies was an extra bliss....... :-)
Oh nice would have loved to have seen SD face.
My bliss today was doing 2 homechecks so that rescued dogs can be rehomed that had previously been rescued from death row.
Hi gness. It's fantastic to see children totally absorbed in the magic of theatre. My granddaughter has recently been introduced to 'panto' ... just to watch her delight is lovely. Already booked in for the next one at Christmas.
It is, Eleena.......and Matilda is such a fantastic show to introduce children to live theatre.......they can relate to so much and have the added thrill of superb lighting to capture them too.....x
Have fun in the tub, Kval.....starry night.....glass of fizz.....and.... ;-)
Bit young for Matilda, Eleena......but I'm sure she'll love the theatre with you taking her....we had so many children who only visited with our school......it's a joy for an adult too when the children are lost in what's happening around them and on the stage...x
Last time I was in a theatre full of children they were a nightmare. My mistake for going to the Nutcracker before Christmas but their parents could at least have stopped them from jumping around their seats every 5 minutes
