Good grief, that thought never entered my mind if you're referring to Eniola Aluko, 33 goals in 105 appearances. I just thought some good doing that almost a goal every three games.

Nor me, Dave. When I have caught it for a few moments on the tv I’ve noticed the stadiums are often pretty empty of spectators, which says it all really.

I have actually played against the once upon a time best UK women's football team and give them a sound thrashing (we were just a local Sunday league team) and I have to say they were bloody awful... But that was some 25 years ago. The standard of women's football has definitely come on leaps and bounds since then.
Who knows where it will be in another 25 years.
