Dermot O’Dreary Absent Again!
37 Answers
Not only is Dermot O’Dreary a very dreary presenter, he is missing from his Radio 2 Show yet again this morning. I’m glad about that, because I’d rather listen to virtually anyone but him and Jo Whiley. But it shows again how clueless R2 bosses are. They relegate the incredibly popular pensioner Tony Blackburn to the 6-8am slot, and put the much younger O’Dreary on after that....yet he’s off as much as he’s on. What an insult to the legend Tony. Any thoughts?

Take note that Tony rarely misses his shows, yet Dermot is rarely there for his own. In most professions such frequent absences would cost a person their job - if only they’d do that in the case.
