Hello,
Please can someone tell me the title of the song that was the theme to 'Buddha of Suburbia' about ten years ago on BBC1, and can you confirm it was by David Bowie, or someone pretending to be David Bowie?

it was called simply Buddha of Suburbia and it was by David Bowie

The soundtrack to the BBC TV Series was indeed scored by none other than David Bowie himself. Lenny Kravitz Makes a guest appearance on one of the two versions of the title track.
