My son starts yet another job in the morning. (and muggins here will have to be up at 6 to make sure that hes up) Hope springs eternal in that he may yet stick this one out. Sometime this week I may start a voluntary position as a voluntary van driver...and who know what may lead from there...

Did your boy get up OK?

When my son was in school I had to wake him every morning (he did a paper round) but since he started work I've never had to wake him. I think their mind set changes with the responsibility. Full time work means he's a grown up and shouldn't be relying on his mum :-)

He did thanks ummm, I was up at 6 to make sure he got up. Hes got 3 alarms but can sleep through a holocaust.

My son used to be like that. I couldn't believe how someone could sleep through the alarm like he did. Obviously I'm in a different room and it woke me up.

As I said, he has 3 alarms going off at the same time (phone, tablet and conventional alarm) Ive gone in his room when all 3 are going off and hes still asleep until I shake him. Beats the cr ap out of me how anyone can sleep through that lot.

He hasn't had a boss yet that he liked...think he's a bit anti authority. Cant think where he gets that from ;-)

Tills, he's doing warhouse work...picking orders for the delivery drivers.

TBH Tills im not sure where it is. he did tell me the firm but cant remember. Its not ASDA though, its some firm that supplies parts for gas cookers and the like.

I only asked because one of my cousins works 'down' Asda. He seems to enjoy what he does and certainly enjoys the banter with his workmates.
