I had trouble understanding what was going on tonight. Who was who, and the plot. I want to stick with it. Can anyone enlighten me ?

I think there were several different groups who could have planted the bomb - the ex-husband who is the Chief Whip (I think), the chap who was with the Indian man who took the case to the meeting, the Police Chief. Stick with it though, Jed Mercurio who wrote Line of Duty wrote this, so it come from a good writer.
