Anyone who is encouraged to dislike a group of people because they watched a drama is sufficiently mentally unstable that they would have found an excuse elsewhere, if not from there.

People who have trouble distinguishing fact from fiction are the same people who have debates about this nonsense on social media.
It was called "Bodyguard" (one word and no "The")
what is trope? it's a work i have never heard before last week and since then heard it about 5 times!
It's what Mamya uses for skipping.
i read that baldric and still dont understand what it means!
anyone who didn't warm to the main character can console themselves with the fact that they are suffering from scotophobia

Very smart these guys from Surrey lol.
stereotype, recurring theme.
AOG how ridiculous. There were goodies and baddies in this excellent series but the baddie who isn't white is the one these stupid people have chosen to moan about. Insulting to everybody associated with the programme.
I don't think the series encouraged anything in particular, characters in a drama often turn out to be entirely different from how we first see them.

Very good Spicerack, I do indeed use t'rope when skipping.
No, Muslims do it themselves.

The media if it uses fictional dramas to get a certain political message across, is just as bad as direct propaganda.

And there are many on here including yourself, who get rather antagonized, if certain races or religious groups are shown in a bad light.

So before you accuse others of being mentally unstable may I suggest that you look closer to home?
AOG: "Did The Body Guard Encourage Islamphobia?" - no I hope it encouraged awareness of those who are pledged to kill us in our own country because we do not adhere to their barbaric way of life. I hope it awoke TROB who think nothing is wrong. This will probably get taken down as it does not adhere to the appeasement rules.
I thought Andy @ 12.47 was agreeing with you AOG. Am I wrong?
Lol at Spicerack at 13:10.

All I can say is that I wish I'd watched this as everyone is raving about it, hope it's repeated on TV.
Why am I not surprised? As soon as I saw the ending, I thought it wouldn't be long before social media started crying Islamophobia.
However, I would like to say, I certainly wasn't expecting that ending and I thought the actress was brilliant, changing from down trodden wife to blazing Jihadi utterly convincingly.
not at all.

Thanks!

I have the series recorded, and I have enjoyed the first two episodes - thanks to your spoiler, I can delete the remaining four.
they can do that with their own mouthpieces like Anjem Choudary... who is a dangerous Islamic fundamentalist, along with many associates, they are the real time threats to this country.
