What’s the point in having professional dancers like FAYE TOZER and ASHLEY ROBERTS on Strictly Come Dancing? Them being of a high standard from the start is not nearly as interesting as having amateurs who progress....is it? Take it back to how to was years ago when the likes of Darren Gough won, I say, and for goodness sake get real celebrities on and not unknowns simply cos they tick boxes

Maybe because not many will tune in to see a dozen lumpen proles in boiler suits stomping around the place, gradually getting their coordination together and reaching a basic level of fitness.

I can't say for sure though, never watched it.

I am not watching it this year as I believe the programme has had its day. Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose and there have been so many changes. 'Celebrities' is a gross overstatement, for me anyway. It has become far too noisy a broadcast for my liking and I think the same of Tess Daly as does weecalf ;)
