I think they are dreadful, must take some getting used to, be unbelievably hot and uncomfortable, all I can say is poor little girls, how can they do handstands and cartwheels as I see my 8 year old GD doing with her friends? Not quite as bad a feet binding, but what are the men afraid of ? Themselves ?

Rockrose. I have Muslim tenants, they have three girls age between 5 and 13. They don't wear the hijab, their mother does, but pretty colours and Western style clothes. Any parents that insist a 4 year old wear the hijab must hold extremest fundamental views. Why would they make them do it otherwise?
