What a load of PC pretentious amateurish drivel - we even had a 'sermon' at the end to ram home the point. And whichever numpty had the idea of casting Bradley Walsh in this should never work in TV again

Personally, I really enjoyed the Rosa Parks episode, just finished.

BB charter: Our five public purposes are central to us serving the public and help us achieve our core mission to inform, educate and entertain.

I reckon that episode informed, educated and entertained.

Was it also written by Malorie Blackman. Excellent episode - from someone who has watched it since William Hartnell
I like Jodie Whittaker. She seems very natural. I have enjoyed all the things I've seen her in.
Wasn't River Song considered a 'Time Lord' ?
just imagine the plot device possibilities of a dalek that self identifies as a cyberman (or should that be cybertrans….)
Just seen the end and I enjoyed it. They seem to have taken the program back to its roots as a family program a bit and simplified the storylines but that's fine. Not sure what the problem is about a story about Rosa Parkes?
//What's a Tran size, Togo? //

Haha Tills. Anything but "Man size". ;-)
Surely Jodie Whittaker is now a four dimensional actor?
She was bound to be harried though Tilly by the permanently offended. She could be Oscar winning performance wise and they'd still say she was crap because shes not a man :/ x
i don't see what the fuss is about, the master became the mistress male to female and no one made it awkward and about PC and gender issues etc.. its just how the story went

Yes, IJKLM - episode was written by Malorie Blackman and Chris Chibnall.
.
What political correctness? Oh you are talking about a female doctor I assume.......I have enjoyed this series so far. I am glad that we are no longer restricted to men doctors and that some people are forward thinking enough to accaept women doctors...it was really hard to start with as male doctors couldn't cope with the competition....luckily their not very bright prejudices were overcome...perhaps this will happen with Dr Who. I have, by the way, watched this since William Hartnell was the first Dr
I watched it last week and couldn't stand her voice, don't know why.
Some very prickly, pretentious pomposity on here tonight, none of it from the real world where, obviously, stereotypes appear in alphabetical order as per Reiths dream.
Absolutely loving this series and I don’t see anything pc.
While I cant say that all the male Doctors carried it off that well her voice does grate with me, add that to average acting by all and an abysmal storyline and I`ve stopped watching.
i have started watching it, but Bradley Walsh seems to be out of his depth somehow. I will see how it pans out.
No. The mistake in casting that stands out is Sylvester McCoy.
I watched half of the first episode. Didn't bother with any more. I don't rate Bradley Walsh as a serious actor.

Also, looking at the pic in thesshh's link, why is the doc wearing scuffed up old boots but brand new (albeit geeky/unflattering) clothes?
