Missing Channels

Morning,all. Does anyone have any idea why ITV, Channel 4 & 5 have vanished from freeview? I've returned and they're still missing. ITV 2, 4Seven 5Star are all still present and correct.

They, for some reason, periodically retune their channels. Revisit the setup to restore them - that said mine remain unchanged but maybe they do it by area.

I've got a similar problem, on Freesat, (sky) channels 1 to 4 not available,channel list starts at 105. I can get them on Freeview as normal.
Been like that since yesterday morning. Anyone any ideas on the cause?

All of the channels you mention share a common frequency (because they're all transmitted on the PSB2 multiplex). Your aerial is good enough to 'pull in' that frequency when the signal strength is adequate but can't cope when the signal strength drops. (See my link for an explanation of why that can happen). The solution offered in my link (i.e. installing a signal booster) should fix the problem for you. (You'll probably need to carry out a retune after fitting it).
