No doubt about it, she’s a great actress and a good singer (though I don’t like what I’ve heard of either of her solo albums) and she seems a good-hearted fun lass. Watching the ITV docu though, I wonder if she’s getting too much publicity/coverage, how long her relationship can last while her fiancé plays a support role just laughing at her jokes, and whether she should be eating chips and gravy. Can’t help but feel she needs someone firm to reign her in. Trouble is when stars get that big (in both senses here) everyone around them tells them they’re fab all the time and darent question them. What do you think?

I dunno about her partner ( in this business that's frankly anyone's guess as to who and what lasts and what can't), the odd chips with gravy won't kill her and yeah yes men are the kiss of death with everyone and if she's lucky she'll have someone genuinely watching her back, if she's not it's easy to slither off into a malaise of believing your own hype. x
I think that's part of the problem though isn't it?
I didn't watch so I may be off track - when we get to see glimpses of other people's lives, that's all they are - glimpses.
Was Sheridan's relationship the same with both parents? I know mine wasn't.
It's hard, she's 37 and has spent almost 20 of those years in the business and had hard times (who hasn't) - I hope she finds some comfort in the near future.

no one knows what goes on behind closed doors, or open ones for that matter. Dont' expect a complete autobiography in an interview.
Sheridan was also on the front of my Telegraph and Guardian yesterday, and on the BBC's front page online, so she's obviously done lots of interviews all at once. Then she'll vanish again and nobody will hear anything more for another year except the odd stage or TV role.

Whether over her turbulent love life or the loss of her brother and father, SS has shed a lot of tears in public, particularly while performing songs. That’s almost part of her act now. Compared to most people she’s very OTT. In the docu concert, she thanked her loved ones ooop north for “keeping my feet on the ground”. I don’t think they can anymore. And worryingly she always seems one tragedy away from falling apart.
