What is C4? Why should its, or their, opinion matter?
Question Author
Sorry, Sandy: What Britain really thinks.

(C4 version thereof)
I watched a C4 programme titled, 'Brexit: What the Nation Really Thinks'

https://www.channel4.com/programmes/brexit-what-the-nation-really-thinks

Results of survey of 20,000 people given here:
https://www.survation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Ref-on-the-deal-Tables.xlsx

It confirms everything we already knew: the whole thing is an unmitigated disaster.

Leavers feel betrayed because aren't getting what they believe was promised;

Pretty much everyone thinks they personally and the nation will be worse off after Brexit.

The nation is still divided, though the current poll says 54:46 in favour of remain, so still split pretty much down the middle.

No clear vision of a way through it, except May's proposal to remain in the Customs Union until they can sort out technology that permits an open border in Northern Ireland that also secures the UK border against all those immigrants coming from the EU.

I think the position of 'no deal is better than a bad deal' was abandoned, as everyone seemed agreed that a no-deal was unthinkable in terms of the economic damage it would inflict.

What did you think?
Pretty damn good précis, that.
Oh, and white males aged 75 or more living in the East of England are the most ardent Leavers.

Black females under the ag of 20, living in London are the most ardent remainers.

Opposite ends of the spectrum.

And this...

Thanks for the link to the survey (whose wording and methodology I'd love to see, what with being in the industry for thirty-five years), but despoite my having a licence to MS Office it's detyermined to deny me access to the Excel doc.
Based on IJKLM's summary, since I've not watched it, no deal is still better in the long term than falling between two stools by staying in but pretending we aren't. And if some really have got cold feet for doing the right thing then shame on them for falling for Project Fear. We voted out, unless we really get out the matter won't be settled.
A statistician with a fetish for Latin. Mmm.
Downloaded fine for me from that link.

Here's an alternative — scroll to the bottom of ths page:

I can see your second link, IJKLM. Is it there for comic effect or as a contribution to the argument?
So what it boils down to is either black females under the age of 20 and living in London, or 75 year old males living in the North East, have a better understanding of what may ultimately be the best long term future for the UK. Understood.
Will it be the same in a General Election if “People” don’t get the “Right” outcome?
Comic effect.
It's gone viral on Twitter.

OK, IKKLM, can see that[i link, but the detail of the questionnaire (Available [i]here]) takes me back into paying for something I've already paid for.

I've got no idea who that might be. Or why such a beast when observed evoke an "MMM". Or what "MMM" might be intended to suggest.

Myself I wrote software for the industry and worked with the guys who designed the methodologies for sample selection and statistical analysis.

It didn't need saying to more than once, Khandro. (Or, to be honest, even once).

There are some who, however often you repeat it, will never understand the principle.
Question Author
You couldn't make it up, could you, Spicerack.

You might have had a good guess, though.

Is some bloke being investigated for "illegal" campaigh contributions.

Got a handle on the EU slush fund, anyone?
Question Author
We are talking billions, not a few million, aren't we?
