Hi Tills, did you watch the BBC2 programme last night "Made In Britain"? It was an episode showing some of the history of the pottery works developments in S.O.T from the 1600s onwards. Worth a catch up view. Shame the BBC insist on loading everything with a bit of pc nonsense. There is a good programme just waiting to be done that shows the real industry, warts and all, without the spin that is so overused. Recommend it to all, not just the Stokies out there.

Thanks Togeo. I saw this thread this morning and tried the link but it doesn't seem to work. Is it on BBC2 iplayer? Does BBC2 have iplayer?
Sorry, Togo, not Togeo. :-)
Oh, I found it! Just had a quick skim through the programme. I will watch it tomorrow, when I have a bit more time. Thank you very much, Togo. It looks really interesting and I'm sure it will bring a nostalgic tear to my eye. :-)
