Hi Minty she's doing ok. Saw Consultant from diabetes ward today and as soon as bed is available on his ward she will be transferred there. She's a bit *** of that she's staying in hospital but ha ho They are going to try and look at different meds aswell and they have lots of different and non portable test equipment available on his ward. Consultant brought a couple of nurses with him that did some initial tests which were ok, so she's a bit of a mystery at the moment, giving another litre of saline solution as her blood ph is still very low. When I left a doctor was trying for the third time to get some bloods from her, Jen being x nurse of 34years standing saying why not try this vane - I left them to it. Will update again when I have more information tomorrow. Only thing I didn't take for her today was her flip flops - obvious thing to take? lol Thanks for your interest and concern xx
Hope everything is well with her Tony. Much love to you both x
Hope all goes well, and they can sort her out. xx
Best wishes from me too Tony, hope they get Jen stabilised.x

Hopefully she'll be home soon xx
Kva in herself she is fine but need to bottom it out once and for all. As I said to consultant in my engineering terms we need to find root root cause, or in Japanese loot loot cause.
Minty don't think it will be this week. She was sad at missing her granddaughters birthday party today but I sent present and card via Jens mum
There's no way to private message on this site is there?

Put up a throwaway email.
No there isn't.
Thank you all for your kind and helpful thoughts and messages
Okedoke Balders when I feel it's appropriate time I will post onsite then - nothing shocking just something I don't want to disclose publicly at the moment.

Thanks again to you all xx
Marval it can all be sorted. I've probably it before you may complain about NHS but when you have crisis situation they are best in the world.
Even for the miscreant that I saw today accompanied by two police officers?
I agree Tony, I have had nothing but the best from the NHS.
I know it was Bevin iniatally started it in late 1940s? Good man
Hope all is well. X
Thanks Chrissa just read my previous posting when Jen was last in hospital seems like de ja vu. Have to get firm this time when she is discharged. Need to have private word with consultant to make sure propercare plan is put in place, and advises Jen that she must exercise and eat properly.
Hi all latest update Jen is fine, got moved to specialist diabetes ward today so just more tests. Its getting really difficult for them to take bloods at the moment, just cannot find a decent vein, its starting to really hurt her when they try and find one. We both suggested they put another canular in and take bloods from that but they say they want it fresh.

it can be a right old pain finding a vein...hope things can be sorted soon Tony..thanks for the update xx
My best wishes to you both, I hope Jen starts to feel more comfortable soon.
