I didnt realise that she was such a freak actually

Carmelite nun - so shy and mute she was given a caravan alone for contemplation and attended mass and other services segregated

oh and oops had an audience of 28 m who hung on every art-history word .....
and then back to a few weeks or months silence ....

as a family clearly we are not keen on 20th century religious divines ( near us) OK on tel or film I suppose

She and Brian Sewell are two of my one brothers favourite people in all the world, which might account for his own eccentric self.

She was very knowledgeable and quite forward thinking in many ways, a joy to watch and listen to.
