She was a fabulously hard working comedienne and actress. From The Glums - ooh Ron - to AbFab and so much more in between. Always a "clean" performer. I loved her in The News Huddlines with Roy Hudd and she was legendary with her take off of Margaret Rutherford. I have been listening to one of her many radio performances this week as Miss Marple. When she moved into a retirement home she said that Joanna Lumley had helped her to clear out her former family home which I thought was a nice touch.
She lived to a good age, bless her, but it is still sad to think we have lost another stalwart of British entertainment.
