Do you mean the piano piece which begins with six repeated single notes, then six chords, then into the melody?
It's the Concerto in D minor after Alessandro Marcello, BMV 974 by J S Bach, played by Glenn Gould (you can hear him humming along in the background). It's on a compilation cd, I can't remember the title, something like Serenity, search Google.
