"not very believable"...when was "believabilty" ever a criterion for a soap storyline?
(There have been several real-life court cases in recent years based on similar circumstances...usually male teachers, but not always).

Teacher getting with student, not only that but the teacher is with the students dad?? Av i got dat right?

like a lot of soaps they will say that it imitates real like situations so they think its something they should include in the show. Hopefully it will get across that this sort of behaviour is unacceptable in society but more important is the fact that although it seemed to be Jacob that was infatuated with the older person (in this case a teacher) now at least to me it is coming across as "grooming" and this has been headline news in recent years, not always teacher/pupil situations but in mass grooming
